My shampoo bottles come in two sizes: normal and large. Usually, I get the normal size because the large ones are harder to come by. But this morning, I noticed the latch mechanism on a large bottle wasn’t quite working. So, resourcefully, I took the cap from a nearly-expired normal bottle and tried to fit it on the large bottle. Lo and behold, the cap was too big for the large bottle. That’s right, same company, same type of product, same shape of bottle, different size. They actually use different sized caps as well.
