I’m not sure how I missed this, but about a year ago, a deadline was set to switch all American television from analog to digital on February 18, 2009. Basically, a digital converter box will be required to receive any signal for any channel after that date.
Most people I know already have digital cable or satellite or rely on BitTorrent for their television. However, I know a few specific people who might not be ready for the change. Given that they still have dial-up internet, I guess I should give them some advance warning: how does two years sound?
