It’s December 23rd again, which means it’s time for another Eddie Vedder birthday! I’ve been a fan of Pearl Jam since 1994, so this is the 13th time I’ve celebrated his birthday.
I’ve never met Eddie, and only been within about 100 feet of him three times, but this is a guy who 1. made it big despite many obstacles, 2. never forgot his roots once he made it big, and 3. still uses his power to make a difference in the world. He doesn’t seem to want to be a role model, but his is an example to learn from.
Congrats on the new age, Eddie, and here’s hoping you keep on rocking for a long time.
